Salvation: How to Begin a Relationship with Jesus

Updated: Apr 22

Do You Know How Much God Thinks About You?

We often get caught up in our own worries, hopes, and dreams. But did you know that God is thinking about you—right now—more than you could ever imagine?

The Bible tells us that God's thoughts about us are countless. He knows every detail of your life, including how many hairs are on your head.

That’s not just poetic—it’s personal. Whatever you're going through, whatever you're longing for, Jesus is already at the door.

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in…” – Revelation 3:20

That’s the voice of Jesus. Gentle. Patient. Persistent. He wants a relationship with you. The question is—will you open the door?

What Is Salvation?

Salvation is more than just a religious word—it’s the beginning of a real, life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.

It's about being forgiven, restored, and made whole.

Jesus lived a perfect life and died to pay the price for our sins, so that we could know eternal life. But this gift isn't automatic.

It’s something we must personally receive.

“…If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” – Romans 10:9

It's not enough to simply say the words. Salvation happens when belief moves from your head to your heart.

How to Begin a Relationship with Jesus?

It starts with prayer.

Prayer is simply talking to God. There’s no formula. No perfect script. But here’s an example you can pray if you're ready to begin your relationship with Jesus:

A Simple Prayer for Salvation

Father, I know that I have sinned and fallen short of your best for my life. I confess that Jesus is my Lord, and I believe that He rose from the dead. Thank you for forgiving me and saving my soul. In Jesus' name, Amen.

What Happens Next?

If you prayed that prayer and meant it in your heart, the Bible says you are saved.

That means you now have a relationship with Jesus. It’s not about religion or rituals—it’s about walking with Him daily.

In the coming days, we'll share more resources and videos to help you grow in your new faith.

But for now, hold onto this truth:

Jesus loves you—more than you even love yourself.
